Professional Life
I am an experienced Software Engineer who loves the technical aspects of my career and have a passion for doing it right.
For the past 6 years I have been the Technical Lead on a strategic Continuous Integration platform. Combining my development experience and knowledge in the CI/CD domain to provide all Development teams with a CI platform which can meet their needs, while insulating them from the overhead of audit requirements and integrations with other systems.
I am primarily responsible for the Architecture, Stability and Scalability of the application, growing it from a proof-of-concept pilot with 100 users to a system servicing 20,000 users globally, for 2000 applications, performing over 300k audited builds per month and processing over 300M files per month.
I partner with the Application Owner to drive the evolution of the platform and am responsible for setting the technical roadmap, designing optimal solutions for future work and ensuring that development principles are adhered to.
As the Technical Lead on the team, I use every opportunity to develop our people, investing time to understand the real issue and guide them towards an optimal solution. This teaches them how to work through problems, builds their confidence and makes them more invested in the solution.
